Have we learned anything?
I don’t think we have come anywhere since the start of my freshman year. Kids are still immature they still are only out for themselves. Society isn’t getting any better. We are all suppose to be on the same side I think? We all role on the same boat together I mean we have to constantly see each other everyday why cant we just show each other respect. Then i ask myself is “respect” to much to ask for? I always have this vision in my head that we will grow out of this state, but unfortunately it doesn’t work like that kids will always be exposed to pop culture, and we will always come up with or fabs and groupies. What many don’t realize is that there are kids out there who just simply don’t have a place yet in that society. It simply doesn’t exists yet, we haven’t evolved to that point. That point in society that I speak of is a more mature point in society where the majority is willing to pull there intelligence and knowledge together to improve humanity. This only for our youth tho. I know that there are people out there that do this, but im 15 so you can see how it would be a little difficult to do. Many kids at my age just simply don’t care. I don’t know if it is just the bullshit stage that there going through or they really don’t care. I just want a group of people who I can talk to intellectually,and share opinions with that are my own age. I cant say I try hard enough tho to find these people. I just hope that someone will just pop up and…….whatever. I want to learn, but believe it or not I let people effect my attitude,and that has a counter effect cause that effects my consistently and my overall effort. I’m trying tho, and i think that is better than most. I cant stress how much I want to learn, but the constant distractions……..they get to me. I know I’m making petty excuses for something only I can change, but it would be lovely to go to a school were certain kids weren’t allowed to speak
